Top Climbers Soar to New Heights at 2013 Youth Climbing Nationals

May 21, 2013, Central Saanich, BC (ISN) – Over 170 climbers were on hand over the May 18-20th weekend to vie for medals at the 2013 Climbing Escalade Canada Youth and Open National Climbing Championships that were held at The Boulders Climbing Gym at Stelly’s Secondary School in Central Saanich.
The event marked the culmination of the 2013 youth climbing season and competitors were not only competing for National gold, but also in the final event of the season that would count toward the Canada Youth Cups in all age divisions, as well as for a spot on the Canadian National team that will be competing at the 2013 World Youth Championships that will be held August 15-19, 2013, also at The Boulders.
